The SFE privacy policy is in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulations. There is complete transparency about how we store and use your personal data.

How does the SFE respect my privacy and the confidentiality of my data?

Your personal data is kept secure. We take measures to ensure that our suppliers and service providers keep your data in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulations.

You have the right to be forgotten, to oppose the use of your data, to rectify them or to request their erasure at any time.

The SFE undertakes to respond to your requests concerning your personal data as quickly as possible.

Does the SFE share my data with third parties?

Your data is not sold, rented, lent or shared to third party organisations.

Legal duty would require us to share certain information if required to do so by law or a law enforcement agency, for example when auditing our accounts.

The SFE uses service providers and suppliers to carry out certain tasks containing your personal data: computer maintenance, processing of your donations, printing and/or sending documents, sending newsletters by email. These third-party organisations are contractually bound to protect and respect your data as much as we do.

The SFE site may contain content integrated from other sites, for example a video, a contact form or a donation form. The use of these elements behaves in the same way as if you visited the sites concerned directly. These websites could collect data about you, use cookies, embed third-party tracking tools, track your interactions with this embedded content if you have an account connected to their website. The SFE cannot be held responsible for the way in which these third-party sites manage your personal data.

How does the SFE collect my personal data?

Your data may be collected during your interactions with the SFE: visiting the site, making a donation, subscribing to our newsletter, filling out the contact form, etc.

Generally speaking, your data includes part or all of the following elements: name, first name, postal address, email address, telephone number, the interaction(s) carried out on the site and/or the exchanges carried out with us.

How does the SFE use my personal data?

We use your data to interact with you in order to keep you informed of SFE news, solicit your generosity or voluntary support, process donations you entrust to us, answer your questions, provide you with personalised services and maintain the history of your relationship with us.

How does the SFE manage my banking details?

Donations by credit card are made via the platform www.helloasso.com. The donation form integrated into the SFE website behaves in the same way as if you visited the Helloasso website directly. The SFE does not collect or store your bank card details.

Donations by transfer or direct debit imply that we collect your bank details in order to collect or receive your donation. Your banking details are completely secure and will under no circumstances be transmitted to third parties other than banking organisations.

Donations by check are processed by SFE members or trusted volunteers who have signed a confidentiality charter.

For each of your donations, we collect at least your first name, last name, postal address and/or email address in order to send you a thank you note and your tax receipt.

How do I modify my data and/or preferences?

You can change your preferences at any time regarding the various communications we send to you, including solicitations for donations, or how we communicate with you by post, telephone or email.
